Privacy on SoyTaboo
This page describes data uses present in SoyTaboo. You do not need an account to play. Available services depend on the site's configuration.
Data stored in your browser
The game uses local storage to remember language, a device identifier and an active game's state. That state can include team names, cards, scores and the turn start time. You can clear this data through browser settings; doing so removes preferences and the saved game.
Cards and game statistics
We use Supabase to load cards and store game records. Records can include a device identifier, team names, language, category, settings, turns, duration, scores and results. Use nicknames for teams if you prefer not to record personal names.
Analytics
When configured, Amplitude receives usage events, visited pages, referral information and a device identifier. The integration also enables session replay for a sample of visits, allowing interface interactions to be reconstructed. Do not enter sensitive information in team names or feedback.
Voluntary feedback
When you send feedback, the message, feedback type, optional rating and email, device identifier if present, browser information and page URL are recorded. The system can email the feedback to the site operator so it can be addressed.
Advertising
Some rules guides may display Google AdSense ads. Google may use cookies and other identifiers to serve and measure ads, and personalize them where applicable. Read how Google uses data from partner sites and visit its ad controls.
You can also read the privacy policies of Supabase and Amplitude. To ask about your data or request correction or deletion, use the home screen's feedback button and leave a way to reply. Clearing local storage does not by itself delete records already sent to these services.
