Can we play remotely?
The app is designed for in-person play on one phone. It does not create online rooms or send cards to other players' phones. “Online” means opening the game in a web browser.
Do I need an account, payment or an installed app?
You do not need an account to play, and starting a game is free. Open the home page in a modern browser. JavaScript is required for the timer and controls; the guides remain readable without it.
Does it work offline?
There is no supported offline mode. The game requests cards when starting a game and temporarily keeps loaded data. An open game continuing to work does not guarantee that another category will load without internet access.
What happens if I reload?
The active game is saved in that browser's local storage. When you reopen the game, it attempts to restore that state, accounting for elapsed time in an active turn. Closing the tab does not pause a turn: elapsed time is counted when restoring it.
This save does not sync between phones. Clearing site data, switching browsers or ending a private browsing session can remove it. Returning home from a game ends that saved game.
How do I change language?
Use the ES/EN selector on the home screen. Guides have a version in each language. Choose your language before starting: changing it does not translate cards already dealt in a saved game.
Do the mixed categories include adult words?
No. Random in Taboo and Time Trial without the Spicy pack exclude those words. Taboo has a separate +18 category; Time Trial has a Spicy option that includes them. Leave those options off when minors are playing or the group does not want that content.
What can I try if cards do not load?
Check your connection and try again from the home screen. If the problem continues, use the feedback button and include the mode, language, category and browser. You do not need to share player names or personal information to describe the error.
